A Railfan Christmas! Festive trains near you in 2020.

Despite the difficulties of mass gatherings during a global pandemic, a number of heritage railroads and railways plan to operate over the festive period with additional safety measures in place, ensuring an enjoyable Christmas for all, in as safe an environment as possible. We decided to compile a list railroads and railways that plan to open, in the hope that there is one near you to enjoy.

Naturally, due to the changing nature of the pandemic, some railroads may close at short notice and all will require visitors to prebook. Some may have already sold out. We’d encourage you to source information from each railroad direct, where possible.
